Pop-up Sales Booster Privacy Policy

Pop-up Sales Booster "the App” provides price editing "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

store name
company name
address
email address
phone number(s)
shopify plan that you use
product information (excluding the hiding products) and prices

We store the history of your actions and backups within 7 days after the application is uninstalled. This will allow you to return the data if you forgot to do this before deleting. We use this information to provide you with our services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, invoice you or to provide a technical support. We do not collect personal information about your customers or that customers provide while shopping or during checkout.

When do we collect this information?

We collect your store information when you install our App and use it.

When and why do we share this information with third parties?

We may also share your information in the following circumstances:

to prevent, investigate, or take action regarding illegal activities
suspected fraud
situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or as otherwise required by law

Merchant information may also be shared with a company that acquires our business, whether through merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or other similar transaction or proceeding. If this happens, we will post a notice on our home page. We do not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information to other companies (exclude Shopify).

Data Retention

When you use the App, we will maintain your Information for our records until you uninstall our App.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you contact us through the Site or need support when you using our App). Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
